Pavlo Kazarin was born in Simferopol, Ukraine, and has left a notable mark in both media and national defense. In 2005 graduated from Tavriya National University, while he embarked on a media journey in 2004, extending his influence to Moscow from 2012 to 2014 through prominent platforms like “Slon.ru,” “Radio Svoboda,” “Nova Gazeta,” and the Carnegie Moscow Center. His hosting prowess spanned ICTV, UA:First, 24 Channel, Radio NV, and Radio Liberty. Additionally, his wrote “Wild West of Eastern Europe” garnered acclaim in 2021.
As an embodiment of dedication, Pavlo Kazarin displayed his commitment on two fronts—media and homeland. Amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, he courageously joined the territorial defense forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, notably contributing to the critical Battle of Bakhmut in March 2023.
