In 2015 he was elected as Mykolaiv City Mayor.
Oleksandr is the youngest mayor of the regional center of Ukraine. His main task, as a mayor of half a million city, is the transformation of Mykolaiv into the best city for the citizens’ life. In his opinion, it is needed to declare competitive city ambitions as a relevant player in the world investment market. With the purpose of task fulfillment, he introduces new effective standards of the city economy management, including open and rational use of the Mykolaiv budget, setting up a system of quality and available services for the city citizens, and investment attraction.
