Oksana Koliada

BIO:

Oksana Kolyada is a distinguished Ukrainian military officer and Veteran Affairs Minister with a distinguished career. Holding the rank of colonel in reserve, Kolyada has demonstrated her commitment through active combat participation. Her background includes service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ukrainian Armed Forces, notably leading the Ministry’s press service during the tenure of Minister V. Zaharchenko. Kolyada’s impact extends to creating military journalist courses, establishing press centers in conflict zones, and developing strategic communication systems within the Armed Forces. She further served as Deputy Commander of the Anti-Terrorist Operation.

Kolyada has dedicated herself to enhancing veterans’ well-being and integration, evident through her leadership roles in the “Information and Coordination Center” foundation and the civic association “Veteran’s Home.” She has orchestrated various initiatives, conferences, and charitable events that support veterans and promote social causes.
