Natalie Jaresko

BIO:

Natalie Jaresko is a distinguished fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center and a former finance minister of Ukraine. She also holds a position on the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on the Future of Financing and Capital. Before her role in the Ministry of Finance, Jaresko co-founded Horizon Capital and served as its CEO. Additionally, she was president and CEO of the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) from 2001, and previously, she worked in economic roles at the US Embassy in Ukraine and the US State Department.

Throughout her career, Jaresko has been involved in various boards and councils, including Ukrainian Catholic University, Kyiv School of Economics, and more. She holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from DePaul University. Her contributions to the Ukrainian economy have earned her recognition, including the Order of Princess Olha award, a medal of honor for USA-Ukraine bilateral economic relations, and the Order of Nicholas the Miracle Worker.
