Dr. Anton Korynevych is a distinguished Ukrainian lawyer focused on public international law, international humanitarian law, and international criminal law. He holds the esteemed position of Ambassador-at-large in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine since May 25, 2022. Additionally, he serves as the Agent of Ukraine before the International Court of Justice in the Allegations of Genocide case since February 26, 2022.
Dr. Korynevych plays a crucial role in various legal initiatives within Ukraine, heading the working group on the reintegration of temporarily occupied territories within the Commission on Legal Reform. He was also appointed as a member of the working group on the development and implementation of international legal instruments for reimbursement of damages caused to Ukraine by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation within the Office of the President of Ukraine. Dr. Korynevych is actively involved in coordinating the establishment of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine on behalf of Ukraine. Previously, he served as the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from June 25, 2019, to April 25, 2022.
