BIO:

Pavlo Kovtoniuk is a co-founder of the Ukrainian Healthcare Center (UHC), an esteemed health policy think tank situated in Kyiv, Ukraine. Throughout the pandemic, UHC played a crucial role in offering COVID-19 analytics and valuable policy advice. In the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the UHC team diligently documented attacks on health facilities and personnel in the country. Before this, Kovtoniuk served as a consultant for the WHO Health Systems Office in Barcelona and held the position of deputy minister of health in Ukraine.
